The Morrisons Media Group Manager will deliver the 3 Year media revenue generation plan, delivering benefits through improved ways of working and working closely with key stakeholders bringing new channels to the market.
This role would suit an experienced buyer, buying manager or marketeer looking to develop their understanding of the wider business, and wanting to use their experience to deliver business improvement across the whole organisation. The role will involve working closely with senior stakeholders across Buying, Marketing, Procurement and Technology to identify opportunities, build plans and support delivery of the plan.
Leading and influencing processes and ways of working across commercial and the Morrisons Media Group (MMG) to maximise media revenue.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Build and deliver annual plans that grow media revenue
- Identify improvements and deliver change to improve the effectiveness of processes that increase our capacity to produce and agree media
- Direct the development, implementation and maintenance of detailed policies, standards, procedures and guidelines relating media revenue
- Monitoring and evaluating performance against budget /forecast for media revenue
- Consult with total Commercial to optimise supplier return on investment with media spend and enable further increase in investment.

This role is based at our fantastic head office in Bradford. Boasting an on-site restaurant, coffee shop, convenience and sample store, prayer room, free parking and regular company-wide events and promotions. Ideally, applicants will live within a reasonable distance of our office.

- A track record of effectively negotiating with suppliers and creating, project managing and driving the benefits from an annual plan, such that it maximises media revenue for the Morrisons group
- Financial acumen and analysis
- The ability to balance the competing pressures
- The ability to seek customer perceptions and motivations to inform and drive improvements and translate these into increased media revenue for Morrisons and return on investment for suppliers
- Ability to judge the external market and interpret market trends to maximise media revenue opportunity
- The ability to gain and integrate feedback from colleagues and customers to maximise media revenue.
- The ability to influence, execute and deliver an annual plan.
