Your focus will be to provide a leading service to our clients and outstanding care for their pets – you will be the intimate link between the pet owner and the clinical team. Your ability to build strong relationships with our clients, their pets and the team is critical to your success.
There are three aspects to the role. One is to welcome the incoming clientele, answer questions, register new clients and serve our existing client with all their needs - this is a client facing role and requires a smart appearance, a smile and a helpful manner. The second aspect is a communication position which deals with incoming client contact via various digital platforms. It will require good telephony skills and proactive communication with the clinical team. The last aspect is a more hands on part of the job which involves taking the visiting client and pet, through their clinical journey. This part of the work is two fold; you shepherd the client journey and you facilitate the pet treatment plan. The first priority will be to carry out all pertinent tasks required of the PHA department such as keeping accurate records up to date, taking payments, managing appointment bookings and other administrative paperwork etc. The second part of this aspect is taking instruction from vets and nurses and aiding their work such as helping with general pet restraint and supervision, administering of treatment, taking for/assisting in blood sampling, collecting urine and many other such requests. The communication with the client on the veterinary recommendations will also be necessary and therefore a keen ear in the consult room is very much needed and a deep understanding of how the clinic operates, developed. This role requires the candidate to be on their feet throughout the day, it is client facing and very interactive with the clinical team. All training will be provided.

- We require a Pet Health Advisor who can demonstrate calmness, composure in difficult situations and is accommodating of the clients’ needs and expectations.
- We want to see support, care and compassion in your interactions with clients and their pets.
- Excellent personal presentation and professionalism is important to us.
- Whilst remaining caring and communicative, we require a high standard of work and efficient delivery of procedures and processes.
- We are a results focused clinic and are looking for individuals that can provide solutions for clients whatever the challenge.
