ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT
The description
We’re looking for an ambitious and detail driven Accountants Assistant to join us at an exciting time in our journey, within both the Finance Team and the business. You will have the opportunity to put your own stamp on this role, and help us to improve our current processes.

What the job involves
● Supporting Direct and Key accounts by prioritising workloads to help fulfil deadlines for both direct and key accounts
● Preparing samples to leave on time – following up with all tracking details, and delivery status’s to whom required samples to be sent
● Notifying Direct and Key account Managers upon completion of tasks
● Providing support for Key account customers such as Costco, Wayfair, Argos
● Stationery/Office administration, including providing stationery on a regular basis and overseeing the ink/toner level in all equipment ensuring that we have enough stock to be able to replace
● Ensure that paper supplies are sufficient at all times – receiving quotes / special offers and allocating where might be best suitable to purchase
● Source other office supplies at requested – finding the best quotes
● Outgoing Royal Mail post
● TNT – international shipments for Export department
● Sales Direct Dispatch (DD), including management of customer DD activities, Ensuring status updates are sent on time, tracking of order through to invoice of each order, understanding full process for each client
● Chasing of debtors on a daily basis
● Reporting back to Accounts manager of progress and next steps
● Setting up new accounts on Sage
● Producing Sage reports when required
● Issuing court judgements against customers when required

Role details
● Employment Type: Full-time
● Work days: Monday to Friday (40 hrs)
● Schedule: 8-hour work day, 8.30am – 5pm
● Salary: £25,000 per year
● Work Location: Office-based (Rotherham, S63 9BL, UK)
