Job Description
A vacancy has arisen within the Facilities team for a Plumber. The successful candidate will be based at the New Mills site but will be required to support our various sites located in Gloucestershire as required. The position requires a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who has the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties:
- Provide a hands on approach on a daily basis
- Reactive response to all plumbing breakdowns
- Carry out new installation work or planned scheduled maintenance
- Good communication skills with our customers
- Processing of job requests using a CMMS
- Liaison with the management team to ensure quality standards are achieved
Key requirements:
- Extensive practical expertise in general plumbing, with some certification.
- General experience in other building trades.
- A good understanding of Health and Safety.
- A good level of computer literacy.
- Full driving license
- Good problem solving skills
Desirable requirements:
- Trained in the use of plant and machinery, forklift trucks or access equipment.
- Knowledge of Legionella risks and controls

- Self motivated and be able to work well on their own or as part of a team
- Demonstrate good initiative and implement continuous improvement
- Self motivated and flexible.
