Experienced Microbiologist

We have the pleasure of working with a growing pharmaceutical business that is leading the market in the research and development of new, exciting immunology products!
Due to the development of the business’ teams and internal promotions, they are now looking for an additional experienced Microbiologist to join their team on a permanent basis. There will be great opportunity for training and progression within the growing business.
The Position;
This position will play a key role in the QC testing of immunology based pharmaceutical products to ensure they are ready for GMP production, as well as ensuring the compliance of the production areas.
You will get the opportunity to utilize a varied range of microbiology techniques including; Endotoxin testing, Bioburden, environmental monitoring, sampling, water testing and microbial identification.
You will be utilizing your previous experience in microbiological testing and should ideally have experience from a QC micro lab or GMP regulated laboratory.
Require Experience;
· BSc/ MSc in Microbiology preferred (or similar subject)
· Strong experience with microbiology techniques is essential, including; Endotoxin testing, Bioburden, environmental monitoring, sampling, water testing and microbial identification.
· Applicants must have some previous employment experience in a microbiology laboratory.
· Previous experience working in a GMP regulated laboratory is strongly preferred!
· Applicants with additional experience in; extensive environmental monitoring and handling deviations may be hired at a more senior level
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
