Here at The Avenue Veterinary Clinic, we are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our passionate and dedicated team. You will mainly be based at The Avenue however you will work in partnership with Alcombe Vets, Ealing. You will ensure high standards of care and service and experience a varied caseload consisting of a nice mix of consults and surgery.
The position can be tailored to suit the successful applicant, with either a mixture of consults and surgery or a consulting/medical role or other specific interests. Case continuity is actively encouraged within a well-equipped clinic permitting cases to be thoroughly worked up in-house.
At The Avenue Vets we understand everyone has priorities outside of work, that’s why we believe in offering true flexibility when it comes to rota patterns. We are open to suggestions of working days / hours to suit you, for example hours around school runs or condensing your hours to get more days off. We haven’t set the hours per week as we are open to a discussion however our normal working week is 40 hours. Overall, we offer a great work / life balance with no weekends or OOH.
The Avenue Veterinary Clinic is a London clinic based in a prime location. The area is regenerating and with many new homes being completed within walking distance of the clinic and a mainline and Crossrail station on our doorstep, this area is set to grow for years to come. Established in 2015, we have an excellent reputation locally for providing the highest client care standards, attentive personalised preventative health care, and high-quality treatment. Our practice is well equipped including an operating theatre, brand new digital x-ray, ultrasound, multi parameter with ECG and much more. Our waiting areas and kennels are separated for cats and dogs, we also are a silver status cat-friendly clinic.
We are currently building the team at The Avenue Vet however you will be supported by the neighbouring practice Alcombe Vets, Ealing which is made up of an experienced Clinical Director, 4 Vets, two RVNS, an Animal Care Assistant and two dedicated receptionists.
