As a Good Will Receiving Auditor you will support the Senior Compliance Business Partner with checking deliveries of stock from suppliers who are on the GWR supplier list. The picking accuracy of the delivery is validated by auditing goods delivered to the stores, enabling initial full payment of the supplier invoice with reported discrepancies charged on a quarterly basis.
This role is a field-based position that involves currently traveling company-wide.
Working hours: 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday (8 am - 4 pm OR 9 am - 5 pm). Should you require flexible working arrangements, please let us know and we will do our very best to accommodate these where possible!
Location: We operate a hybrid working policy which means that you decide what works best for you! If that means working from home, then work from home. This particular role is a field-based position so you can expect to be working from different stores/locations for up to 4 days per week. However, this may increase during busy/peak seasons.
Key Responsibilities (Day to day duties):
- Managing and checking deliveries of suppliers on the approved GWR supplier list
- Being vigilant and accurate when receiving stock using the companies RF gun
- Completing relevant paperwork with the delivery and issuing to the appropriate supplier for them to check off.
- Liaising with buyers and departments with the relevant information regarding the completed checks and advising of any discrepancies or issues found
- Route planning using SAP tools
- General input and administration of databases
- Communicating any related issues found in a professional manner.
- Liaising with the homebase stores in advance of any visits.
- Responsible for Data Entry, Verified and Audited retail deliveries into stores within the UK.
- Cabled of using computer inventory equipment.
- Draw conclusions from the data and present to Senior Auditor any recommendations.
Key Skills/Requirements
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Works well under pressure
- Experience of conducting compliance and operational checks
- Health and Safety knowledge regarding warehouse procedures
- Excellent administration skills
- Ability to prioritise workload with an attention to detail and willingness to complete in a timely and efficient manner.
- Proficient in Excel, Word & Email
