Chapel Surgery is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse who prides themselves on providing high standards of patient and client care. You will be keen to develop nurse clinics, be confident at anaesthesia and be happy to help with the daily running of the surgery. This is a sole nurse role with the benefit of a full-time kennel assistant to provide support where required.
The role is part time, working two days a week plus 1 in 8 Saturdays and 1 in 20 Sunday mornings working at Rosemary Lodge. No nights or additional out of hours.The Chapel is located in the historic Market town of Melksham, in beautiful rural Wiltshire. The Chapel is a busy first opinion practice offering both consultations and operations daily throughout the week. We have two consulting rooms, a fully equipped operating theatre, x-ray facilities and practice laboratory all housed in the beautiful, renovated surgery.We are a small, friendly team who benefit from the support of our 24-hour first opinion and referral hospital in Bath. Here at Bath Vets we pride ourselves on our friendly working environment and our focus on staff wellbeing. Staff are actively encouraged to develop their skills and knowledge via in-house learning and CPD.
This role would suit an RVN with previous branch experience who enjoys client facing and excels working in small team. You must feel confident as sole nurse and have excellent communication skills.
