Graphic Designer and Animator
Remote, UK (Occasional visits to Manchester/Wakefield/Nottingham studios)
We are seeking a talented and experienced Graphic Designer and Animator to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio of work showcasing their design and animation skills, as well as the ability to create visually appealing graphics and animations for a variety of mediums.
What You Will be Working On as a Graphic Designer and Animator
The Graphic Designer and Animator will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing and producing high-quality graphics, UI assets, merchandise designs, event graphics, motion graphics and animations for our range of games.
Your Day-To-Day
- Bring excellence in creative thought and innovative ambitions to marketing campaigns, inspiring the best in others and always placing the product first.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop design and animation concepts and strategies for various projects.
- Design visually appealing graphics and animations for a variety of mediums, including store art, trailers, branding materials, social media and advertising.
- Ensure all designs and animations are in line with brand guidelines and are consistent across all mediums.
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality.
- Present designs and animations to clients and stakeholders and make revisions based on feedback.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design and animation trends and techniques.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field with a focus on animation
- Strong portfolio of work showcasing a range of design and 2D and 3D animation skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and InDesign)
- Proficiency in 3D software (Maya, Zbrush)
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication, collaboration and presentation skills

The Interview Process
The interview process for the Graphic Designer and Animator role is made up of 3 stages:
- Stage 1 (30 minutes) – A quick introductory call with one of the TA team to briefly assess your experience and run over the role in greater detail
- Stage 2 (30 minutes) – A formal meeting with our Creative Marketing Services Manager and Marketing Artist to further discuss your experience to date and assess your skillset relating to the role. After this stage the team will ask you to complete a task that will be outlined during the interview.
- Stage 3 (60 minutes) – A final interview with three members of the Creative Services team to assess your suitability within the team along with understanding your future aspirations. There will be plenty of opportunity for you to ask any questions as well.
To allow you to prepare as best as possible for your interview, we will provide you with a selection of core questions that the team will ask.
