Part of your role will be to visit ward areas, check stock and supply what is needed, ensure stock on wards is fit for use, and to receive and accurately book in stock delivered from suppliers. This is a busy and active role, and we are looking for someone who can pay close attention to detail and is able to work as part of a team.

You will also help with medicines that have been returned, ensure that they are disposed of appropriately and avoid waste.

To ensure that you can carry out the role, we will provide you with the required training - to complete the units of the NVQ2 or equivalent qualification in pharmacy services within 12 months. The post will involve using the pharmacy computer system and dispensing robot for which training will be given.
