Tees Valley Hospital is Teesside’s newest private hospital situated on the door step of the Tees Valley community and provides surgical, medical and assessment services on the grounds of Acklam Hall in Middlesbrough.
The role
An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated pharmacy technician to work at Tees Valley Hospital.
The post holder will manage medicine procurement for the site and supporting the safe and effective management of stock. Working under the direction of the pharmacy lead, the post holder will work as a member of the wider health care professional team at Tees Valley Hospital to provide patient care and support delivery of clinical governance agenda.
We welcome applications from candidates with experience working in the secondary care or primary care sector (including community pharmacy).

What you’ll bring with you
- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a Pharmacy Technician
- We require you to have clear and confident communication skills, be patient focused and have at least 1-year post registration hospital pharmacy experience. A warm, considerate and empathetic character
- A commitment to support individuals and assist as necessary with activities of daily living including personal care/therapy, social, emotional, and recreational needs and aspirations.
- The ability to make decisions and use your initiative
- Strong communication skills
- Passion to deliver excellent care in a rewarding and what can be emotionally challenging environment
- A flexible and positive attitude
