**Position Overview:**
As a Dog Daycare Animal Care and Welfare Assistant Apprentice, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our daycare facility, ensuring the well-being and happiness of our canine visitors. Working closely with experienced staff, you will learn essential skills in dog handling, behavior management, and overall canine care.
**Responsibilities:**
- Participate in the daily care routines for dogs, including feeding, grooming, and monitoring their activities.
- Observe and report on dogs' behavior and well-being, identifying any signs of discomfort or health issues.
- Learn and implement positive reinforcement techniques to encourage good behavior and promote socialization among dogs.
- Assist in organizing and supervising group play sessions, ensuring a safe and fun environment for all dogs.
- Support in administering medication or treatments to dogs, as directed by experienced caregivers.
- Help maintain a clean and hygienic facility, including dog play areas and sleeping quarters.
- Record accurate and detailed information on each dog's activities, behavior, and any special requirements.
