Key focus:
The Fibre Delivery Manager duty is to oversee and underpin the successful completion of all fibre programme deliverables amongst internal and external project stakeholders. The task objectives are to ensure the programme milestones are completed on time, within budget and to the standards and quality set by the business or our clients. This is a field-based role with some office time required.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all members are skilled and accredited to the standards expected.
- Manage performance and continuous improvement of the team.
- Identifying areas of development and success.
- Be in daily communication with the engineers to ensure the work is delivered as per the designs provided by the clients.
- Find solutions to any occurring on-site problems.
- Liaise with your dedicated client to discuss works progress or any occurring risks and issues.
- Identify issues in the FNCs.
- Manage, motivate and guide site teams.
- Oversee site safety procedures and quality.
- Support internal and external project teams to ensure works are completed in a timely manner and within the quality expectations.
- Ensure the sites supervised are compliant with any site regulations and policies.
- Review trackers to identify fluid work.
- Perform comparison analysis between client designs and PIA network to identify and resolve potential build issues.
- Any other duties that may reasonably be required of you.
Requirements:
- Experience in the field within the Telecoms sector.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- NRSWA certificate (Desired).
- Full valid driving license.
- Clear understanding of operational delivery in a commercially focused business environment and timely delivery of customer requirements.
- Ability to respect and follow safety procedures.
- Problem solver and solution provider.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to oversee projects with strict deadlines.
- Aptitude to motivate, challenge and support a team.
- Detail oriented and analytical.
- Proficient knowledge of CDM (Construction Design Management) Regulations.
