Our new Marketing Director will play a critical role in enabling our growth ambitions, helping to segment and target our markets whilst delivering exceptional design and execution of innovative strategies that engage and excite our markets, generating high quality leads that not only convert, but become strong advocates of our business.
We’re flexible in our working approach, and we’re looking for someone who can travel to our UKI offices when needed, with a blend of office and home-based working.
What you will get up to day to day
- As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, be an ambassador for the combined UKI Group and each constituent Company.
- You will deliver the full remit of leadership and direction setting for a multi-disciplinary Marketing team across the Byggfakta UKI Group. The function is responsible for all campaign management, PR, events, design and online channel management to generate the right leads in the right space at the right time to achieve our growth ambitions.
- Ensure that each UKI Group business and territory receives the Marketing services it requires.
- Defining and executing an omni-channel marketing strategy spanning industry networking, events, the UKI Group Companies’ websites through to national social media campaigns.
- Development and Delivery of the lead generation playbook, for BAU, ad-hoc and scheduled events to hit KPIs as agreed with the Commercial Directors.
We are looking for someone who
- Experienced senior B2B marketing professional with proven experience in leading and motivating a function to meet deliver a strategy aligned to business objectives, key results and BAU KPIs.
- A naturally adept digital professional with implicit understanding of the digital marketing landscape – social, PPC, SEO, content marketing and inbound activity.
- A track record of people management, leadership, coaching and development of marketeers
- The ability to gather and interpret insights and data on the changing market and external landscape to inform solutions and ways of working – and influence others as required across businesses.
- A breadth of experience across all areas of Marketing (from research through to communications) with evidential success at delivering joined up integrated marketing campaigns
- A thorough understanding of CRM and marketing automation best practice, particularly Salesforce/Pardot and related platforms and activities.
Some of the key responsibilities
- Clearly communicate and achieve buy-in to the Global vision while ensuring others know how their role contributes to the success of the UKI Group businesses.
- Drive the performance of the Marketing team by devising effective and ambitious marketing strategies with clear measures that enable accountability and alignment to business performance and ensure that other Departments are held to account in supporting the Marketing strategy.
- Create sustainable competitive advantage through maintaining the UKI Group companies as thought leaders, thereby differentiating from the competition.
- Promote the position of UKI Group companies as though leaders in our markets via planned activity utilising internal and external resources.
- Set and manage the conversion of MQL though to SQL and ensure Sales deliver the requisite SQL to won business rate via a programme of assessment and continuous improvement.
- Help identify and promote the cross-selling and up-selling of our individual and combined propositions and influence the commercial strategy and pricing models based on sound analysis.
- Identify key trends in the industry for us to capitalise on i.e., sustainability data and associated promotional opportunities.
- Own the Go To Market process and standardise the approach for any new Product or Service, ensuring timely buy-in and approval from key stakeholders.
