The role: Do you have a background in live event celebrations, parties & dinners, away days, and milestone events?
Join a leading event management company and work on a wide range of live event projects for private clients and ambitious brands. We're looking for a passionate Sales Manager to help us drive B2B and B2C growth and develop strategic relationships with new and existing clients.
As our Sales Manager, you will take ownership of the sales cycle and work closely with our Managing Director to execute our business development strategy. You'll be responsible for building long-term relationships with our clients, reaching out to new clients, pitching to C-level executives and directors, and producing and developing compelling event proposals that articulate and demonstrate the value and creativity that we can bring.
We're seeking a driven individual with 2+ years of B2B sales experience and a proven track record of winning new business.

This role is based in Egham, Surrey, with a hybrid working arrangement that includes at least three days in the office and two days remotely.

Required experience:
- Have worked on live event celebrations, parties & dinners, away days, and milestone events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Taking full ownership from the beginning to the end of the sales cycle.
- Thinking outside the box and aiming for the best.
- Producing and developing compelling event proposals that articulate and demonstrate the value that MGN can bring to new and existing clients.
- Leading on pitches and presentations.
- Growing accounts strategically.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships.
- Conceive and execute innovative partnership ideas.
- Develop and execute MGN events business development strategy.
- Understand specific client challenges in each of the markets we serve and how our products align to meet those challenges.
- Build a thorough understanding of our products, services, the industry and our competitors.
- Pitching to C-level Executives and Directors primarily within the Technology, Gaming, Pharma, and Luxury sectors.
- Maintain close liaison with the operations teams in order to ensure the delivery of successful events, while also managing the account.
- Working closely with the Managing Director and Sales to conduct monthly revenue forecasts, and sales reports and manage a sales pipeline.
- Identify potential customers from various business sources.
- Represent the company at networking events.
- Create and share performance reports with the wider team.
- Work directly with the founders, playing a key role in shaping MGN sales strategy.
