Maintenance Manager
Based at Huncoat, Nr Accrington

We currently have a great opportunity for an experience, team focused Maintenance Manager to join our management team and take responsibility for managing all site facilities and maintenance activities, leading, developing and supporting a dedicated multi skilled maintenance team to achieve functional objectives in line with business demands.
The Role:
- Full day to day responsibility for all on-site maintenance activities with key focus on continuous improvement, planned & preventative maintenance, installation projects and budgetary control.
- Lead, development and support a highly skilled team of multi-disciplined engineers.
- Develop and implement Planned Preventive Maintenance Systems to enable proactive maintenance whilst balancing risk.
- Work closely with production, operations & technical teams to improve standards and manufacturing efficiencies.
- Plan, prepare and manage the maintenance budget to deliver the agreed levels of site performance cost effectively.
- Develop a culture of continuous improvement within the maintenance function.
- Apply appropriate asset management maintenance strategy to optimise asset performance through the life cycle.
- Understand the criticality of site and equipment to prioritise and manage maintenance activities to deliver agreed levels of performance.
- Oversee the management and efficient procurement and availability of spares and consumables to deliver plant availability targets.
- Manage all 3rd party maintenance resources and external contractors effectively.
- Plan, control and implement all machine / equipment installation projects.
The Person:
- Qualified ONC/ HNC or equivalent in electrical and mechanical Engineering.
- Proven experience leading a multi-skilled maintenance team and implementing maintenance strategies.
- Background, experience working within a manufacturing environment.
- Fully conversant with TPM disciplines.
- Analytically strong, a structured problem solver and an effective communicator.
- Ability to project plan in conjunction with others to ensure they are completed on time and in budget.
- Budget management experience.
- Good understanding of Health and Safety principles and legislation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, effective communicating and instilling confidence at all levels.
- Stakeholder management skills.
