We are looking for experienced, versatile and talented Senior Programmers to join our team. Your main responsibilities will be to help investigate, measure and optimise systems of small and large scale.
The ideal candidate will have experience with console development and systems programming with a keen eye for optimisation. This role would be great for someone who would like to further their technical knowledge of Unreal Engine and how to handle large scale projects on multiple platforms.
Responsibilities
- Investigate, measure and optimize systems within the title.
- Working closely with all disciplines to understand and ensure long term project goals are being considered.
- Implement system improvements or replacements where needed.
- Develop technical systems.
- Extend or build tools to aid in project goals.
Required Experience:
- Experience shipping AAA games.
- Unreal Engine Experience.
- Optimisation Experience.
- Up to date with current trends and development processes.
- C++ Development experience.
- An enthusiasm and passion for games.
Desired Experience:
- Console Development Experience.
Important:
The interview process for the Senior Systems Programmer roles is made up of 2 stages:
- First interview (30 – 45 minutes) – An interview to discuss your experience and working history relating to the position with members of our Programming team. In return, we will provide a full overview of the role, life at the studio as well as answer any questions you may have.
- Final interview (45 minutes) – A final Interview with our Studio Head and Studio Production Director. This will be a chance for you to get to know the Senior Management team and all the things that make Lucid, Lucid! You will have a lot of opportunities to ask any questions about the studio and Culture.
