Job Description
You will have the opportunity to make an active and meaningful contribution to our exciting service modernisation and redesign that is based on the i-Thrive model, ensuring children and young people get the right support, at the right time, in the right place, from individuals with the right skills. You will also build and maintain strong working relationships with partner agencies supporting the development of integrated care pathways and locality working. With great communication and organisation skills, and a flexible can-do approach, you will work as an integral member of the leadership team in Swindon CAMHS and across Bath and North-East Somerset, Swindon, and Wiltshire, providing management cover for other team managers as required. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the Bath and North-East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire Out of Hours On-Call Managers Rota and be on call approximately 7 days every 12 weeks (this frequency could be subject to change).
There is a robust system of support available from the consultant psychiatrist and senior manager on call. Candidates will require a professional qualification and previous experience of working in childrens services and/or as a Mental Health practitioner is essential.
