Job Purpose
Our Garage Services Drivers carry out the collection of filter bins, battery banks, anti-freeze, contaminated fuel, rag bins etc. from businesses and automotive sources whilst promoting the Slicker workplace values. We are looking for a Driver to be based out of our Kingsnorth site. We are Smart, Honest and Reliable, working Together whilst having Fun.
Main Tasks and responsibilities
- Driving a 18 tonne box van
- Manual transportation of garage waste
- Loading and offloading of vehicle, multi drops and collections
- Completion of all relevant paperwork, i.e. EA notes, delivery notes
- Daily defect reporting
- Maintaining vehicles
- Adhering to company Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Representing the company in a professional manner
- Dealing with the public

Role requirements
- Candidates must have the flexibility to work longer hours during busy periods and must be willing to work nights out.
- Able to engage with colleagues and customers, and demonstrate a positive approach to customer service
- Demonstrate the ability to achieve set daily/weekly objectives
- Maintain resilience in a demanding role
- Must be fit & healthy as manual work is involved.
- Be a reliable team worker
- Ability to work unsupervised
Licences / Qualifications
- HGV Class C (Class 2) Licence - Required
- ADR Licence - Desirable
- FLT (Counterbalance) Licence - Desirable
