Event Concept have an opportunity for a Warehouse Assistant to join our Veevers Carter team. In this role, reporting into the Operations Lead, you will be trained on how to pack and load floral arrangements into our fleet of vans carefully and safely along with installing our displays across a variety of events.

Who are you?
- First and foremost, you're a team player. You're willing to roll your sleeves up and help your team.
- You have a good understanding of H&S in the workplace especially within warehouse environments.
- You’re a solution focused self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- You have excellent communication skills.
- You are reliable and punctual.
- You have a full UK driving licence.
- You enjoy a fast-paced environment.
- Be comfortable with working onsite on multiple.
- Willing to work additional hours as and when needed regularly.
Day to day activities:
- Overseeing warehouse loads.
- Prepping and packing of floral equipment and displays, varying from delicate glass to heavy trees and wall installations.
- Onsite driver where required.
- Liaising with the Dry Hire team to ensure everything is prepped, ready and loaded.
- Unpacking and clearing floral displays, ensuring our recycling and sustainability pledge is considered.
- Moving the goods to the correct area in the warehouse, either manually or using mechanical handling equipment.
- Compliance with security procedures and health & safety, ensuring all aisles and stair ways are clear and tidy.
- Supporting florists and the floral studio manager to ensure shelves and areas are clean and tidy.
- Ensuring the Veevers Carter area and yard are kept a tidy and clearing away packing material and debris.
- Carry out recycling and waste disposal.
- Attending our venues at least three times a week for installations, strikes and ensuring that loads are delivered safely.
- Assisting the florists with tasks in the studio such as filling buckets, conditioning flowers and foliage.
- Ensuring all jobs have complete kit boxes when going out on site.
