AVARTEK are based in the heart of West Yorkshire, we are an independent, family run business. We are an online retailer of household, office supplies and tools.
The Order Picker (known internally as E-commerce Warehousing Operative) is a key part of the Company’s E-commerce Supply Chain based in Bradford. This is a growing team with potential to develop beyond this role as the operation grows.
The role will involve all normal elements of warehouse work with primary duties to pick and pack customer orders and replenish stock as required.
Experience of warehouse work and a willingness to learn are expected. An understanding of health and safety basics and using warehousing/inventory would be advantageous.
The successful candidate will be able to work at pace to ensure we meet operational targets so we deliver a great service to our customers.
The ideal candidate will be hard working and motivated, have a keen eye for detail, have an approachable attitude, be well organised/flexible and be able to use their own initiative when not directed by the E-commerce Team Leader.
This is a 27 hour per week contract working the hours across Monday to Friday. Core hours in the week are 9.00am to 5.00pm however please note that flexibility may be required to work additional or altered hours during peak times of business.

- You will also be responsible for keeping the warehouse / loading bays clean and tidy
- Your role plays an important part of the operation and as well as being numerate and literate, you will be highly organised, able to multi task and be a strong team player who works well under pressure.
You will be joining a friendly hard working team and though the role will start as a temporary position it will become permanent after a satisfactory probationary period.

Salary: £10.50 per hour
