We’re the world leader in dermocosmetics, with international skincare brands recommended by health care professionals and distributed in healthcare outlets worldwide, including, pharmacies, drugstores, medi-spa and e-retailers.

Our portfolio is composed of 5 brands offering a range of skincare and haircare across the world; Vichy, CeraVe and La Roche-Posay being just a few. The products respond to all expectations linked to beauty and health of the skin: from dermatological and aesthetics skincare to natural solutions, from the most accessible ranges to the most premium ones.

You will

  • To manage & effectively coach a Regional team of GP / Secondary care representatives ( DMR’s)
  • To ensure achievement of personal objectives, including sales, market growth & profit targets
  • To achieve all activity targets for your team via consistent & demonstrable KPI delivery
  • To achieve the territory sales targets through planning & delivery of agreed business objectives within defined accounts and implementation of product marketing strategies
  • To drive product usage in Secondary Care & key Primary Care customers through the enablement of the DMR team
  • To generate recommendations & prescriptions from secondary & primary care through building a focused, motivated, empowered & cohesive regional team.
  • To deliver agreed activity with KOLs and Secondary care
  • To achieve Regional sales targets through implementing individual activity taking into account call rates, coverage & frequency of calling on identified customers, included but not limited to:
  • Secondary care physicians
  • Dermatologists (NHS and PVT)
  • Other key stakeholders - TBD
  • GPs and primary care prescribers and influencers
  • Dermatology specialist nurses
  • Hospital and community pharmacists
  • Developing a Regional Action Plan which clearly outlines the activities to be undertaken at territory level by the wider team of DMR’s & creating an empowering environment for DMR’s to thrive – empowerment & accountability.
  • Guides professional development of DMR’s through Connect, training & exposure
  • Agreeing clear and SMART objectives with HOMD and Medical Relations Manager for specific strategic actions, and regular reviewing of achievement of those objectives, putting into place activities as required to meet those objectives – for yourself & DMR team
  • Maintaining high levels of product knowledge – especially key clinical papers – and customer and competitor knowledge at all times - participating / supporting in training programmes as appropriate
  • To manage & be the custodian of accurate customer records captured within Veeva – coupled with active engagement upon providing feedback on marketing materials / campaign where required.
  • Being aware of developments in the NHS and local issues, assessing implications and communicating to the wider team; as well as tailoring local activities to adapt strategy and tactics as appropriate
  • Ensuring that all administration tasks are completed in a timely manner and targets are met in line with minimum standards– call reporting, expenses etc, in conjunction with monitoring teams ongoing proficiency in communication – inclusive of the level of adoption of our CRM / Veeva.
  • Managing Regional budgets on an on-going basis to ensure compliance & ROI
  • Being aware of the ABPI code of conduct and L’Oreal ethics charter ensuring that all standards are met by reports and yourself
  • Attending sales conferences and other events which may involve overnight stays
  • Maintaining a level of IT competence which enables use of company communication and reporting systems
  • Undertaking any other appropriate tasks as may

You have:

  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent) – able to cope with basic science/medicine. Full and detailed understanding of the NHS and the commercial implications for Pharma / dermo-cosmetic companies
  • Strong interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), influencing / persuasiveness skills – pro- active - Excellent selling, negotiation and networking skills.
  • ‘Can do’ attitude – someone who gets things done – able to work on own as well as in teams
  • Management experience essential ( 3+ years)
  • Solid & proven track record ideally in Dermatology – ABPI qualified ideally.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of NHS and customers in local area
  • Medical Sales background with proven track record in driving success - secondary care and key account management experience is desirable
