Job description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven individual who wishes to further enhance a career in Export Field Sales.
This full-time position is part of a committed and hardworking team within the busy UK Export Sales department that provides customer services and support to our worldwide customer base.
This is an international sales position with responsibility for managing and achieving sales results aligned with company objectives. Regular travel is a prerequisite, as the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and developing business partners from our international customer base, with the primary focus on generating sales in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.
With this position there is an expectation for time away from home, and or working outside of the normal hours on occasion. The role is based at our head office in Exeter, and you will be required to live in commutable distance of the office.
Duties and responsibilities:
Providing excellent customer service and support.
Responsibility for maintaining and achieving sales and profitability goals through multiple sales channels and countries.
Deliver new business and growth opportunities, conduct customer visits, provide market feedback, and support new Portfolio recommendations.
Develop sales plans, provide forecasts, and support marketing strategies.
Provide training to customers on the use of systems and processes.
Regular travel ~30% of time.
Person Specification:
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in sales and be able to demonstrate previous experience and knowledge of working within an export environment, with experience in Agriculture or a similar related industry.
Essential Skills:
Background in engineering and/or parts.
The ability to display sound business acumen, such as tactical planning and project
Effective communication skills, written, verbal and listening.
Willingness and availability to travel based on business needs.
Self motivated and ability to work with minimal work direction.
Ability to thrive in a team environment and collaborate well with others.
Strong IT experience in using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and other computer programs.
