As a Delivery Partner, you will work as part of the Change Team, you will be leading on planning, preparing, landing and sustaining change on agreed big change work which can vary year on year dependent on what the priorities are.
Partnering closely with and building strong relationships with different team, from all across Homebase, you will hep ensure that business requirements are clear, the right changes are being made and that business objctives are achieved. Your role will be to help ensure clarity: making sure our all our team members are on board with withese changes, understand their benefits and are well prepared to acion them.
Working hours: 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday (8 am - 4 pm OR 9 am - 5 pm). Should you require flexible working arrangements, please let us know and we will do our very best to accommodate these where possible!
Location: We operate a hybrid working policy which means that you decide what works best for you! If that means working from home, then work from home. This particular role is a hybrid position annd you will need to work from our Milton Keynes, Store Support Center for 2 days per week (Tuesdays & Wednesdays)
Salary: £50,000 - £57,000 (DOE) per annum, plus bonus earning potential.
Key Responsibilities (Day to day duties):
- You will ensure that I am clear on the business and functional goals, and can feed this knowledge into requirement gathering.
- Use your brilliant cross functional relationships and networking skills to ensure thatyou have gathered well rounded business requirements and facilitate the right working sessions to complete.
- Where requirements are identified, ensure that you brief the requirements in via the right processe e.g., technology briefing process, and make it easy for teams to develop the right solutions e.g., new technology or training plans.
- Ensure we have a clear view of who is sponsoring the change.
- For all change, work with relevant business areas to get a clear view on the benefits it will bring.
- Ensure that we use ‘easy’ to understand language that all team members can related to and remove any team specific jargon e.g., simplify technology language.
- Keep the business informed on the plans for change and the timings.
Key Skills/Requirements
- A solid understanding of how people navigate through change, with proven change management skills and an ability to adapt to change in a complex and at times an ambiguous environment.
- Knowledge and demonstrable experience of change management principles, methodologies, and tools to assess challenges, identify the root cause, analyses the options, develop the best one to drive the change needed.
- Process confident ability to spot improvements, work up new processes and implement them.
- Experience of establishing and building strong relationships to build creditability, whilst being able to challenge and influence others to move towards a common vision/goal.
- Demonstrable organising and planning skills, to ensure short, medium and long-term considerations are taken into consideration.
- Commercially astute with experience of delivering large scale organizational change projects and a familiarity with project management approaches.
