The mission of the Credit Controller (Temporary 6 months) is to look after the Sales Ledger function daily. Ensure month end processes are performed timely and accurately, control debts, making sure overdue are collected within a timely manner, monitor credit limits and control credit risk (using Credit Safe).
Das sind Ihre Aufgaben
- Managing cashbook, with accurate receipt allocation
- Creation of new customer accounts using in-house accounting software
- Processing customer refunds and account reconciliations
- Managing customer invoicing platforms – self-billing, consignment stock, etc
- Liaising with other internal and external sales departments to ensure accuracy of customer accounts
- External reporting, eg EU Sales, Intrastat
- Manage debt collection using appropriate methods
- Some responsibilities for South African subsidiary sales ledger
- Assist with other duties within the team when required
- Develop and maintain sales ledger department policies
- Ad-hoc office duties

Your education and experience
Credit Control experience essential 3-5 years
Fluent in English (both verbal and written)
Educated to GCSE Level or equivalent in English and Maths.
