Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Blackburn and Darwen's Council's MASH team. This is a full time role offering £35 per hour.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure high quality effective social work practice by supporting the response at the front door within the Children's Advice and Duty Service.
  • The CADS team are trained specifically to respond to all new enquiries made at the front door, thus being able to make consistent and sound recommendations and decisions promptly.
  • Will have a genuine passion for working directly with children, young people and families across Blackburn with Darwen.
  • You will be supporting the delivery of professional excellence within social work practice as outlined, particularly in regard to assessment, planning intervention and review.
  • You will be about using the experience you have gained to ensure that the initial response to partners, members of the public and others is consistent, appropriate and proportionate to the reason for contacting the local authority.
  • You must be able to demonstrate a knowledge of evidence-based approaches and the ability to offer sound professional advice in a smart and meaningful way which at times will involve challenge.

Requirements:

  • Social Work England registered
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Social Work Degree

  • Children
