You’ll be responsible for building, developing, and maintaining our relationships with intermediary firms, over the phone, via virtual meetings from your own panel of brokers.
In this role you work closely with the field BDM of your area to manage and service a large panel of brokers with the main aim to grow and maintain our share of the market. By listening to our customer’s needs and clarifying their objectives you’ll play a key part in increasing our customer loyalty. If this sounds like something you’d enjoy, we’d like to hear from you.

- Working closely with your aligned BDM to agree the best contact strategy for your brokers.
- Using market intelligence to support planning, prioritisation and decision making.
- Utilising available MI to support broker conversations, both in terms of pipeline management and spotting education opportunities.
- Implementing strong time management skills in order to manage tasks expected.
- Building broker confidence through accurate information, guidance, and ownership of potential issues.
What you’ll bring.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the mortgage market in particular the intermediary sector and the ability to demonstrate up to date competitor knowledge
- Telephony experience in a fast-paced environment, with specific outbound experience.
- You will require the right to work in the UK (please see details below)
It would also be nice for you to have.
- Excellent relationship management skills: experience managing business to business relationships is highly desired.
- Proven track record meeting objectives, with the ability to work with high volumes, remaining organised and structured
- Analytical, able to analyse data to view trends, patterns or issues and take action.
- Resilience and tenacity to fulfil KPIs

Our preferred location for this role is Glasgow and you will be expected to spend 40% of your time in this office. We would also encourage you to apply if you are in a reasonable travel distance of our Manchester head office as we can consider on this basis where you will be expected to spend two days per month of your time in this office.
