ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a ‘crown jewel’ within the Unilever brand portfolio – Dove. Dove is Unilever UKI’s biggest Beauty & Personal Care brand. Arming young people with self-esteem and body confidence since 2004, Dove’s purposeful vision is to make beauty a positive experience of beauty universally accessible to every woman. By 2023, we aim to reach 7.2M lives globally with our Dove Self-Esteem Project.

You will be working on the biggest category within Dove in the UKI – Skin Cleansing – which is split into 4 different sub-categories (Shower, Bath, Liquid Handwash & Bar). This complex and fast-paced role will accelerate your commercial acumen and leadership skills.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Support Integrated Brand Planning for Dove skin cleansing

  • Uncover root issues and opportunities (at brand and sub-category level) across the 6Ps via leading brand and category audits (financial share, consumer, equity, shopper analysis, review of previous strategies and ROI of previous initiatives, and external/competitive reviews and market development opportunities).
  • Develop crisp (clear, results-oriented, strategically aligned) strategies (JTBD) to inform annual plans.

Constantly review brand performance for ongoing improvement

  • Continuously understand ongoing business performance using key internal and external diagnostics: share growth, key initiative tracking, competitor activity as well as understanding the key levers to ‘max the mix’ and drive profitable growth.
  • Answer the ‘why’ of business/brand performance to inform business decisions.


Support the development and execution of Dove skin cleansing 12Q plan on time, in full

  • Lead and project manage local roll-out of all relevant innovation projects.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of all relevant project launch plans and post-launch evaluations.


Lead the development of a ‘go-to-market’ plan for skin cleansing

  • Support in building compelling shopper marketing plans to grow Dove skin cleansing sub-categories.
  • Support in delivering brand customer cascades.
  • Point person between marketing and the customer development team: identify distribution opportunities, land innovation, and new listings.


Operational lead for Dove Skin Cleansing

  • Oversee brand budget and forecasting to ensure spend is in line with agreements.
  • Day to day supply chain point of contact for Dove skin cleansing.
