We’re searching for a passionate Employee Relations Advisor to become part of our supportive UK HR team. This role is primarily based in Shepshed, however it will require significant travel across the UK sites, with hands on case management and the opportunity to coach and support our Line Managers.

A Day in your life at ForFarmers:
Your role will encompass a diverse range of responsibilities that revolve around fostering a positive work environment and providing expert guidance on employee relations matters. You’ll be the forefront of promoting corporate governance and ensuring that people managing activities align with our values and policies. Your key tasks will include:
· Conducting policy research and supporting the development of policies and processes that enhance effective people management
· Serving as a trusted advisor to line managers and internal stakeholders, offering expert counsel on employee relations matters such as; performance management, grievances and conflict resolution
· Nurturing relationships with unions and ensuring our treatment of employees aligns with our core values and objectives
· Empowering line managers by coaching and guiding them through challenging situations
· Being a point of contact for team members, offering support and directing them to available resources
· Collaborating with external providers of ER-related services to ensure timely and relevant support
· Contributing to the people plan and aligning advice and support with the broader people agenda
· Managing specific cases, including high-risk ER matters and Employment Tribunals, ensuring successful resolution
· Analysing employee relations trends and matrix, providing recommendations to enhance the overall employee experience
· Delivering engaging workshops and acts as a subject matter expert in an allocated area of ER knowledge / activity
· Supporting the organisation through TUPE and organisational restructures
What you bring to the role:
· CIPD Level 5 (Level 7 is desirable)
· Proven ER/HR Experience and a thorough understanding of current employment policies and procedures
· Keeping up to date with legislative changes and best practices in HR and Employee Relations
· Skilled in complex negotiations with Unions
· A natural ability to coach and support others
· Strong communication skills
