Your Responsibilities:
- Monthly Management Accounts: You will play a crucial role in producing monthly management accounts using SAGE50 for multiple entities within our group.
- Ledger Maintenance: Efficiently maintain the monthly accounts ledgers using SAGE50, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Inter-Company Transactions: Handle inter-company transactions and reconciliations with precision and attention to detail.
- General Accounting Matters: Oversee various general accounting matters, demonstrating your expertise and sound judgment.
- Balance Sheet and Nominal Reconciliations: Perform meticulous balance sheet and general ledger nominal reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
- VAT & PAYE Reconciliations: Skillfully manage VAT and PAYE reconciliations, complying with all regulatory requirements.
- Credit Control and Debt Collection: Showcase your excellent credit control abilities by efficiently chasing debtors and managing outstanding payments.
- Sales Ledger and Billing: Take charge of the sales ledger and billing process, ensuring smooth and efficient transactions with our valued clients.
- UK Payroll Knowledge: Utilize your in-depth knowledge of UK payroll to handle related responsibilities with confidence.
- Reporting to Senior Management: Collaborate closely with the Head of Finance and CEO, providing valuable financial insights and contributing to strategic decision-making.
Key Skills and Characteristics:
- Professional Qualifications: Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) or qualified AAT, demonstrating your dedication to continuous professional growth.
