South Coast Nursing Homes is an established and successful, family owned and managed, care home company based in Worthing, West Sussex.
We currently operate 9 homes across East and West Sussex. We have 414 beds having recently opened a brand-new Home in Central Worthing, named The Poets. Each registered home offers the highest standards of resident care and comfort, 24 hours – day and night, for long and short-term stays.
As a Regional Operations Manager you will be:
- Reporting into the Managing Director, this role involves supporting a cluster of three Nursing Homes in Worthing, totalling 152 beds.
- Proactively working with each Home Manager and their care teams, ensuring quality care is provided to our residents whilst promoting their interests and ensuring a person-centred service is always provided.
- You will be continually driving standards to ensure that SCNH’s business objectives and the Care Quality Commission criteria are met.
- Supporting Managers to ensure optimum occupancy is maintained in each home ,whilst maintaining appropriate staffing levels to offer a superior level of care.
More about you:
- Experience with in a multisite role, a Nursing background/experience is desirable, however experience within the care industry would be essential. A willingness to learn is vital.
- Experience in managing, mentoring, training and appraising a team, is an essential part of this role.
- Excellent communication, organisational and troubleshooting skills.
- Good analytical ability and route cause analysis at pace and under pressure can often be a necessity in this role.
- A degree qualification or equivalent is desirable
Package:
- £75K Annual salary dependent on experience
