Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a well-known Utilities and Infrastructure business to recruit a Sales Development Lead.
This is a key role within the SME Sales Team with the key focus being on creating a pro-active and highly motivated sales function to support business growth targets.
About the Role: As the Sales Development Lead, you will be the driving force behind the Internal sales team. You will be responsible for igniting motivation, fostering a culture of success, and implementing strategies that lead to substantial growth in sales revenue. This individual will also be hands on with their own sales pipeline to manage.
Responsibilities:
Inspire and Lead: Motivate and guide the sales team, setting clear performance objectives and providing continuous coaching to improve individual and collective sales performance.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans to achieve and exceed targets. Identify untapped market opportunities and drive growth initiatives.
Team Development: Conduct regular training sessions to equip the team with the necessary skills and knowledge. Identify areas of improvement and provide constructive feedback for professional development.
Performance Analysis: Utilize data-driven insights to evaluate individual and team performance. Analyse sales metrics and KPIs to identify trends and make informed decisions.
Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall organizational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Foster a culture of cross-departmental collaboration.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a successful Sales Team Leader or in a similar leadership role.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and drive sales teams towards exceeding targets.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
