Quality Manager (Food)
My client, known locally as a leading employer of choice, are in search of an experienced Quality Manager to join their highly established team in Co. Tyrone.

Main Responsibilities:
· Develops, implements, manages, and tracks effectiveness of an integrated program, including systems, standards, procedures, measures, and tools to assure that food safety, quality, sanitation and regulatory requirements are met for food products and operations
· Develops and delivers effective communications that provide partners at all levels with appropriate awareness and knowledge of quality assurance standards, program updates and process changes
· Lead the Food Safety and HACCP team at respective site
· Interact regularly with engineering, manufacturing, and service functions to establish and define quality assurance standards for the site including manufacturing, sanitation, pest control, and disposition of ingredients or finished products
· Represents quality assurance on enterprise-wide cross-functional teams
· Stays up to date and builds expertise in food safety best practices, public health regulations and industry best practices
· Establish monitors and maintains a quality assurance and quality control system
· Conduct statistical analyses of food safety and quality data to assess compliance with related programs and determine where improvement is needed
Essential Criteria:
- Relevant 3rd Level Qualification with experience in similar FMCG food industry, including auditing experience
- A working knowledge of BRC standards, HACCP, Food Legislation and Food Hygiene
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and organisational skills
- Team leadership qualities and personal development skills
- Logical approach, excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
