Job Description
The main purpose of this role is to support the Global Marketing Department to provide marketing support in a number of areas to raise our brand profile and maintain our position as a market and thought leader in the serviced accommodation and corporate housing industry.
Responsibilities:
- Working closely with all members of the Marketing and Business Development teams, and our teams in the USA, Singapore and Madrid, you will need to develop an understanding of the Business Travel, Corporate Housing, and Relocation market
- You will write content for the website, for clients, suppliers and other stakeholders, helping to develop a distinctive voice and personality for the business through written content
- You will get involved with bid teams to support, project manage and write content for major proposals and award submissions
- You will be a creative communicator who is driven by a love of writing and storytelling, with the ability to interpret and articulate complex information and communicate our service and unique selling points in a clear and compelling way, in a variety of offline and online media
- You will work alongside our internal graphic design department and videographer to help create high quality visual materials for social media, client documents, RFPs, presentations, brochures and award submissions
- You will also support our Public Relations and events programme, helping to project manage and deliver events throughout the year and create press releases for the trade media
Experience and Skills Required:
- Excellent standard of written English and a good eye for detail
- A creative and engaging written style ideally developed in a role writing for a business
- A positive and confident communicator who can support planning, storyboarding, proof-reading and editing
- An understanding of different tones of voice and different written styles for different audiences or projects
- Experience in social media management and creating content for different platforms
- An ability to sue design programmes such as photoshop and Canva to create simple graphics and presentations
- Experience in using, or appetite to learn CRM and engagement platforms such as Active Campaign, Mailchimp, Survey Monkey and Pipedrive
- Evidence of previous work demonstrating your ability to create high-quality, well-researched written content would be desirable. Please submit examples with your application, which could include blog posts, presentations, articles, newsletters, bids, brochures or award submissions
About you:
- You probably have two or three years of work and life experience under your belt - in a role that requires you to write, communicate and multitask, ideally in a B2B Marketing or Agency environment
- You will be organised, able to manage multiple deadlines and projects, and enjoy working as a team in a creative, collaborative and friendly environment
- You will enjoy a varied role in which no two days are the same, and you get to work on various elements of the marketing mix
