Customer Support Coordinator
Permanent Role. 8:30am - 5pm Monday - Friday. Stretford, Manchester, office based.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and engaging Customer Support Coordinator to join our growing team. This role could be an ideal first step for someone wanting to start a career in customer service but equally could be the perfect fit for someone who loves inputting data and helping customers and is looking to join a great company. You must be willing to work hard, have good attention to detail and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining effective customer relationships at all levels
- Processing a high volume of customer orders accurately and on time
- Ensuring customer orders are checked, processed and managed all the way through to receipt by the customer.
- Proactively identifying and managing any at risk orders and providing updated delivery information and / or alternative solutions to customers.
- Updating the Issues Log, investigating and resolving simple issues independently such as proof of delivery, invoice discrepancies, returns information, items for quarantine etc.
- Engaging with relevant Managers and teams to ensure timely corrective actions.
- Providing regular feedback to customers, maintaining satisfaction levels and achievement of contract KPI’s.
- Raising and monitoring collections/returns to the Distribution Centre
- Logging customer enquiries
- Updating customer details in the ERP system
- Providing telephone, e-mail and system-based customer service
- General administrative duties
This is an exciting opportunity to join an established industrial supplies specialist which provides a diverse product range including Adhesive, Tapes, Sealants, PPE, Tools, Paints and Hygiene supplies to blue-chip organisations.
Requirements:
- Confident user of Microsoft Office packages e.g. Outlook and Excel
- Good at written and verbal communication – sending professional emails to customers and confident speaking to customers over the phone
- Ability to plan and prioritise workload to meet deadlines
- Efficient at data entry to process orders quickly and accurately

Salary: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
