We at Restore have a new and exciting position at our site in Rainham for a warehouse operative, If you’ve got experience in a warehouse, fantastic, we could use someone that can hit the ground running. However, experience isn’t required. So long as you’re a team player, able to handle a relatively physical role whilst being reliable and organised, you’ll easily be able to get up to speed.
You’ll be trusted to receive, track and monitor clients’ records whilst ensuring everything is in its rightful place.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Retrieve customer boxes, files and documents from storage in preparation for dispatch to customer sites
- Ensure items have been recorded/scanned correctly and are in a decent condition for transportation
- Use the tracking system and operating procedures to ensure that daily routines are performed accurately, efficiently and on time
- Work in line with all company policies, in particular relating to Health and Safety, information security and confidentiality
ABOUT YOU
- Experience working in a team
- Must be physically fit due to a large amount of lifting required and because of the nature of the site a lot of walking is involved
- Methodical and able to work to defined processes
- Good attention to detail
- A positive attitude and the ability to use your initiative when required
We store and manage over 22 million items including archive boxes of document files, film and computer tape across a variety of secure storage facilities nationwide. Including cold war Air Force shelters for some of our heritage pieces we store on behalf of the leading museums.
