Are you a Band 4 Nursing Associate who values patient centred, home first care?
We are looking for an enthusiastic, forward thinking Nursing Associate to join our team in the Community where you can take your skills out and about as you travel to and from patient homes to provide personalised, quality care in the place where your patient feels most comfortable.
Day to day the role includes the following care carried out in the patient's own home:
- Phlebotomy
- Injections
- Wound care
- Bladder (including catheters) & bowel care
- Vital observations
- End of life care
- Administration and optimisation of medicines
- ECG recording
- Dopplers
- Moving & handling of patients
- Participate in audits
- Undertake risk assessments
- Recognise and escalate issues of concern and/or safety
