Closing Date - 15/08/2023
Interviews - week beginning 29/08/2023
As part of the Cladding Safety Scheme team, the Manager– Technical Operations will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of the programme to fix unsafe cladding on medium and high-rise blocks of flats. You will be joining our enthusiastic and experienced team, who are committed to making positive change in this sector. This is a rare chance to help deliver the important objectives of the Cladding Safety Scheme in a growing, national organisation.
Working in the Technical Operations team and alongside the Senior Manager – Technical Operations, you will support the operational delivery of the programme by helping to bring buildings which have a cladding safety issue into the scheme and helping us to run the cladding safety schemes and get buildings fixed.
Whilst our day job is to deliver first class customer service to our stakeholders on the Cladding Safety Scheme, you will be used to "spinning several plates" at once and will always be looking for ways to improve and innovate.
Utilising your commitment to delivering excellent customer service, you will be working alongside the Senior Manager to deal with more complex remediation projects and also to help bring buildings into the Scheme. You will handle queries on projects which need support and guidance to keep them on track. You may also be involved in reviewing payments. Part of the team’s work also involves working with building owners to get them to apply to the Cladding Safety Scheme and you will be involved in supporting this activity as well.
Delivering on a mission as bold as ours isn’t always easy. You will be resilient and comfortable managing stakeholders at a senior level and your discussions will always be shaped by a good understanding of the commercial and operational impact of what we do as a team. You will enjoy working in an innovative, fun and engaging way and be able to negotiate and persuade.

How? We form long-term partnerships that bridge the gap between the public and private sector to meet local needs and aspirations. We use our influence to champion the creation of sustainable homes, communities and places that are brilliantly designed for the people that live there now, and in the future. And we use our funding and support to build a more resilient, diverse and innovative housing sector, helping new entrants in the market, encouraging modern methods of construction and design, and promoting the utmost attention to building safety.
Together with our partners, we’re accelerating the pace of house building, remediation and regeneration across the country, as we seek to deliver ever more affordable homes in places people are proud to call home for generations to come.
