Job Type: Permanent, Mon - Fri, 40 Hours, 8am - 5pm
Our client, a well established industrial machinery manufacturer is looking for a Sales Advisor to join their team. You will handle inbound sales enquiries via telephone and email, checking stock levels and pricing using Microsoft Great Plains. Additionally, you will process sales orders and provide exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, and web-based sourcing tool
- Resolve customer queries, complaints, and provide technical product information
- Source items from other suppliers as needed
- Maintain high standards of administration and customer service
- Promote the company and its products professionally
- Adhere to the company's confidentiality agreement
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Sales Advisor, Sales Assistant, Sales Executive or related role
- Standard grades in English and Maths as a minimum
- Interest in engineering and related products preferred
- Commercial awareness and understanding of sales procedures and costs
- Good IT skills, full training on Great Plains software will be provided
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
