Working within the HR team and reporting to the Learning & Development Systems Manager, you will support the delivery of learning and development across the organisation through devising, embedding, and following robust processes that ensure trainers, subject matter experts and learners can provide and access effective and impactful learning resources both face to face or online.
You will use your ICT skills to look for and implement solutions within the learning and development system that work towards providing a clear offer for learners and meaningful data for managers and the organisation.
You will support Managers with the procurement of appropriate high standard training which supports the needs of the organisation.
With the ability to build effective relationships with a variety of stakeholders. You will be able to hit the ground running and be comfortable and confident in working on your own initiative.
Key duties will include:
- Support L&D administration team
- Coordinate learning and development activities across the council
- Support with managing, organising and updating relevant data using our learning management system
- Produce statistical information and reports
- Develop the effectiveness and efficiency of the service
- Improve the functionality of learning management system
This role is based both at home and in the office. As a team we are required to have a regular presence within the offices for service delivery approximately two days per week. When in the office, the main place of work will be West Offices.

Hybrid working arrangements are available for this role. Each role at CYC is different and your working arrangements will be determined based on the requirements of the role and in collaboration with you and your needs as part of the recruitment process. Your contractual location will be the designated council office for your team.
