Primary Purpose of the Role:
Reporting to the AIT Operations Manager and under the responsibility of the AIT Manager of the project, the role will lead and oversee the execution of the AIT operations on the spacecraft and will be responsible for the integrity of it. The main functions of the role are :
Coordinates the activities performed on the specimen under test on a daily basis maintaining a detailed schedule of each AIT phase
Prepares and chairs AIT Integration/Test Readiness Reviews, Key Points and Post Integration/Test reviews.
Deputizes AIT Manager (and vice versa) when he/she is not available to ensure permanent continuity in AIT management.
Participates (occasionally) to the engineering phase of the project with the design team to ensure the validity & applicability of the solutions envisaged
Contributes to the definition of verification strategies at the System level
Participates to the development of System tests
Contributes to the definition and completion of System testing requirements
Leads the risk analysis of specific operations.
Checks the GSE requirements
Writes the leading procedures and sub-co operations follow-up procedures
Prepares and chairs AIT daily meeting involving AIT and engineering skills leaders and forwards instructions to the shop floor
Authorizes operations on the specimen under test and control their progress
Maintains the detailed schedule on a daily basis.
Systematically provides Lessons Learnt at the end of each AIT phase by proposing recommendations and improvements
Ensures the technical coordination of all AIT operations for a given AIT phase
Gives the "go-ahead" in case of "critical steps" in some procedures.
Ensures the validation of "redlines" on procedures as-run before these steps are executed
Performs a first analysis of the NCR raised in AIT as inputs to NRBs
Work Package Management as required
Key Responsibilities:
The role will lead and oversee the AIT operations on the spacecraft and will be responsible for the integrity of it. The role shall ensure that all operations are in line with company and ECSS standards

Project Manager for definition of work packages and detailed project oversight of task delivery
Product Assurance Manager for support Assembly Integration and test activity
