Mattressman is looking for a Sales Manager at our Flagship Norwich Superstore. You will be responsible to ensure that the first point of contact for customers face to face or over the telephone is a positive experience. Your focus will be delivering exceptional customer service, sales advice and creating an informed, honest, professional sales experience for all our customers. You will be setting the standards for your sales team to follow and actively lead by example.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Ensuring the store is clean & presentable at all times
- Maintain and develop both new and existing Mattressman customers through excellent customer care and ethical sales methods
- Provide outstanding customer service at all times, resolving all customer queries quickly and efficiently, managing situations to result in successful conclusions
- Being able to handle telesales calls in between store's footfall
- Being able to adapt to new technology to help enhance customer experience
- Work flexibly and as part of the team, ensuring stock is replenished and displayed to the required standard
- Carry out daily cash handling routines Adhering to data protection policies at all times
- Ensuring that POS and updated pricing changes are always up to date within the store
- To take an active interest in understanding retail and who our competitors are
- Liaise with Mattressman and the wider team to enhance our quality of service, company growth and customer satisfaction
- To develop the Sales Consultants with training and support
- To have responsibility for the store & team consistently meet and exceed targets
Person Specification:
- Have strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive & enthusiastic attitude
- To be smart & presentable at all times
- Have the to drive to hit KPIs & targets
- Be able to listen to a customer needs and match to an appropriate product
- Have experience of active sales with a proven track record

We offer competitive basic salary with commission OTE £28-50k. 30 days holidays plus your Birthday off, company pension scheme
