Responsibilities will include:
- Leading a project team to deliver against agreed tasks, whilst supporting the Head of Projects and Commercial Manager
- Creation and management of well-defined project plans; encompassing all relevant cross-functional activities and required resources
- Co-ordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution of projects
- Building strategic partnerships by developing collaborative relationships with key suppliers and clients
- Management level customer communication; resolving any issues and removing any potential barriers to project success
- Stakeholder engagement and progress communication
- Identification and delivery of continuous improvement initiatives
- Effective reporting on operational and commercial status of projects
- Financial management of projects; ensuring cost and value are continually reported and escalating any risk where necessary
- Line management responsibility for a team of Project Engineers
- Ensuring all activities are carried out in accordance with Company and legislative procedures; identifying training needs where required and ensuring this is undertaken
- Performing risk management for all projects
- Client/site visits where necessary (both UK and overseas)
- Working in line with requirements of quality, health and safety, and environmental management systems
Ideal candidates will be:
- Experienced in delivering products or services in site application or construction, as well as manufacturing, particularly on a global scale
- Capable of meeting/surpassing customer expectations whilst focusing on business priorities
- Highly organised, consistent, and reliable in seeing tasks through to completion
- Able to balance rigor and agility in their process approach
- Have clear and effective communication skills across all levels of business, internally and externally
- Confident in reporting and presenting data/information in a clear and concise manner
- Able to manage their workload in accordance with project requirements and strict deadlines
- Champions of continuous improvement
- Unfazed when working under pressure with an efficient sense of urgency
- Comfortable working with various IT systems

This is a full-time permanent position, contracted to 37.5 hours per week working 08:00-16:45 Monday-Thursday and 08:00-12:30 Fridays.
