We have a fantastic opportunity at our Residential service in Paston, Peterborough as we look for our next Senior Support Worker/ Team Leader! You will receive £11.90 per hour/ £23,204 per annum.
At this 10 bedded service, we support 9 Individuals who have communication, mobility with additional health needs. They enjoy participating in activities in the house and community.
As the Senior Support Worker/ Team Leader, you will split your time between supporting the individuals and spending 6 hours a month completing administration tasks and help lead the team with the support from the Deputy & Registered Care Manager. You will be planning, coordinating and supporting activities at the home.
Care is provided around the clock. We take particular pride in the range of activities and wellbeing events we provide. You will often find yourself out on day trips, or activities such as walks in the park or Hydro sessions at the pool or visiting the local café or pub for social events.

This role in Paston, Peterborough might include:
Supporting individuals / groups / teams within the home, center and community.
Providing a customised, responsive and high quality service to people with multiple sensory impairments, physical and/or learning disabilities who use Sense services.
Delivering services which meet or exceed organisational expectations and standards.
For this role you will require:
A full manual UK license and must be willingness to drive is required as you may be required to drive the company vehicle (to take individuals out in the community)
Experience of leading teams in a Social Care setting is essential.
Knowledge of or qualification in British Sign Language or the willingness to learn is desirable ( BSL / Makaton etc.)
