The Curriculum and Assessment team in the Kent and Medway Medical School (KMMS) are looking for a course assistant to join them in providing administrative support across a broad range of activities, in their expanding team. Liaising with stakeholders across the two universities, Kent and Canterbury Christ Church, and NHS partners, you will play a key role in supporting curriculum and assessment work and in ensuring a high-quality student experience for KMMS's aspiring doctors.
As Course Assistant you will:
- Act as a point of contact for students, colleagues and external organisations.
- Provide administrative support associated with the organisation and delivery of the medical curriculum and the student experience
- Support assessment and examination processes
- Maintain accurate curriculum information and respond to general enquiries
- Enter and update electronic student, programme and assessment records
To be successful in this role you will need/be:
- Educated to GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or equivalent
- Strong customer service experience and a commitment to delivering a high-quality service
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good IT skills, particularly in the use of Microsoft Office packages
