Impellam Group is looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to support the Finance Team. This is initially a 6-month fixed term contract with a view to going permanent.

Position Objective:
To ensure that purchase ledger postings & payments are accurate and paid to agreed terms and that supplier accounts are reconciled regularly. You will also be assisting in the management of ad hoc payments and staff expenses.
This role will also include payment of third-party supply chain invoices including reconciling supplier accounts, creating remittances, ensuring timely and accurate payment to suppliers and dealing with queries.
Main Responsibilities:
- Payment processing
- Dealing with ad hoc queries
- Reconciling supplier accounts
- Creating/sending remittance advices
- Receiving approval and paying supplier Invoices
- Liaison with suppliers
- Applying relevant controls for authorising and remitting payments
- Robust purchase ledger delivery including accurate postings
- Suppliers paid to terms and accounts reconciled
- Queries kept to a minimum and resolved in an accurate efficient and timely manner

Location:
The successful applicant will be based from either our Luton or Leeds office and able to commit to hybrid working conditions where you will be working from home 2 days a week and the office location 3 days a week.
