This is a perfect opportunity for you to join our supportive and motivated friendly Children's team based at Colchester General Hospital.
You will be supported to build on the skills and knowledge that you already possess and provided with opportunities to develop both clinically and professionally.
We are looking for a confident innovative individual who is a team player with the ability to develop and continue collaborative working relationships with other healthcare professionals, services, and agencies.
Clinical supervision and supported induction period are provided.
This is a fixed term role to cover Maternity Leave
To support the co-ordination of the service and run nurse-led clinics for patients from diagnosis through to treatment and follow up
To act as an advisor to health care staff on matters relating to the patient’s management and to provide clinical, professional advice
Promote the development of clinically effective care that is seamless between primary and secondary care settings
To assess patients, select, carry out, and interpret the end results of specific tests in conjunction with Lead Nurse and Paediatrician
With the support of the Lead Nurse, demonstrate and utilise specialist skills and knowledge to provide innovative practice in paediatric asthma /allergy
Ensure a continuous service to children/young people is offered in the hospital and in the community as required
