Job Description
A brilliant opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Pharmacist with a passion for Medicines Safety to join our well respected Pharmacy Team.
The successful candidate will lead on medication safety across the Trust, acting as the Trust Medication Safety Officer and managing the Medicines Safety Group.
You will work with the Trust Governance and Risk Team to provide pharmaceutical input to the multidisciplinary governance agenda related to medicines safety.
We require you to have a Clinical Diploma or equivalent and possess excellent communication skills. We will build upon your current experience and qualifications through supporting you to develop further leadership skills to maximise your impact in the role.
Working closely with lead medical, nursing and pharmacy staff you will maintain the profile of medication safety across the Trust, ensuring effective trust wide communication of medication safety issues. You will also lead and chair the Pharmacy Governance group.
