About Us
We are an independent hospitality company that owns and operates multiple bar and restaurant venues across Cardiff and Swansea. Founded in 2010, we’ve built on our combined knowledge and creativity to launch some of the most popular and unique venues in South Wales including BrewStone, Bambu. Peppermint, Frango and most recently Swansea Bay Pop Up. CHG also manages a number of ancillary companies in property management, security and cleaning.
The Role
As the sales manager you will work towards developing a well structured three year plan to showcase the company's vision that comprises all things sales and marketing. CHG is looking for a committed individual who can drive our sales team and look at creative, dynamic ways to maximise profits and showcase our brands.
Your Responsibilities
- Agree and implement a fully integrated sales campaign for each brand.
- Manage the sales team, ensuring they achieve all KPI’s including monthly and yearly targets.
- Assist the venues with innovative ways to promote their business in line with CHG objectives.
- Produce weekly, quarterly and annual reports for the senior management team meetings to discuss and agree company objectives.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, together with a broader sales strategy.
- Monitor customer complaints and ensure they are dealt with accordingly.
- Create and develop a pipeline of new business for private events bookings, large group bookings and venue hires, ensuring strategies are in place to drive and report conversion.
- Liaise with venue managers and ensure communication from the sales team is streamlined to help the venues meet their sales targets.
- Develop key relationships with clients/agencies and attend relevant sales exhibitions.
- Ensure all enquiries are dealt with effectively, and closed to maximise sales and maximise pre-booked revenue in the venues.
What We Expect From You
- Significant, demonstrable experience in marketing at management level, preferably gained in the hospitality sector.
- Ability to handle multiple brand initiatives simultaneously while being quick to react to opportunities and new initiatives that arise within a growing company in order to stay ahead of our competitors.
- To be a team player who can work under pressure to tight deadlines.
- Direct and lead the sales team to reach the company aligned goals in order to have maximum output.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data to forecast upcoming trends and report on these weekly.
- Work collaboratively with the marketing, finance, and operations department to ensure we are aligned with the company goals.
- Committed to working from our HQ in Swansea but will be required to work in both Swansea and Cardiff venues.
- Flexibility to work any of the 7 days a week, core hours of 11am-7pm (not your average 9-5!).
