Job description
Our client seeks Production Technicians to join our expanding team. This is an emerging role within the business that will promote Production efficiency through the development of long term solutions to emergent technical issues. You will be working in a small team of up to 4 Production Technicians working collectively but with specific responsibility for a designated area within Production.
Home grown talent is essential to every organisation and as such the company are looking for individuals keen to learn and develop a rounded set of skills & experiences within the Production and Manufacturing team.
To learn the company processes you will be exposed to product development, planning, manufacturing/machinery and quality control. The role will require technically focused engagement with team leaders and machine operators to understand problems and identify solutions that prevent recurrence and improve efficiency.
Newly qualified engineering graduates are ideally suited; however, attitude and personality are also recognised as important to individual success in the role. IT Skills and good GCSE/A-level are essential job requirements. This role is for individuals with a strong work ethic and desire to actively contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, technical development and quality control.

Qualifications
Good organisational and administrative skills, including computer literacy in common Microsoft applications (word, excel, outlook).
High GCSE / A Level results, biased toward STEM subjects.
Able to manage time and workload efficiently.
Desirable:
Previous experience of working in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Degree or Higher Education in an engineering or technical subject.
Knowledge and experience of using the Dynamics 365 Business Central system.
